Wyze Wireless Gaming Headset Best Ultra Cheap Gaming HeadsetĬompatibility: PC, Mac, PS5, PS4, Nintendo Switch, Mobile | Interface: Wireless | Connections: Wireless (2.4GHz), Bluetooth | Drivers: 50mm | Frequency Response: 20Hz - 20,000Hz | Battery Life: 20 hours | Weight: 308.4g Tired of the same black aesthetic? It also comes in Razer’s Mercury (white) and Quartz (pink) colorways. PS5 gamers will also appreciate its Tempest 3D audio support. Gaming-wise, it delivers a mids-centric profile with a strong bass presence and solid virtual surround sound – not to mention, a reliable mic that lets you come through loud and clear when you’re talking over Discord. Add in its 20-hour battery life, and you’re good to go for long gaming sessions. Comfort is a top priority as well, with its 250g lightweight design and plush ear cups designed to be breathable. There aren’t any unique marquee features, but what makes it special is that it pumps out clean audio, offers multi-platform compatibility (that includes your Android phone), and solid wireless connectivity without demanding more than $100 from you. The Razer Barracuda X is proof that when you get back to the basics and forgo all the frills, you can produce a top-notch gaming headset. We also weren’t a big fan of its design, as the matte black color scheme and oddly placed Xbox logo feel uninspired.Compatibility: PS5/PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Android wireless, Xbox Series X/S, Mac | Interface: Wireless, Wired | Connections: Wireless (2.4GHz), USB-C, 3.5mm | Drivers: 40mm Razer TriForce | Frequency Response: 20Hz - 20,000Hz | Surround Sound Modes: THX Spatial Audio, Tempest 3D | Weight: 250g Unfortunately, the microphone possessed a noticeable echo and it made our voice sound a bit distant. And with 15 hours of battery life, the headset will certainly survive even the most dedicated gaming sessions. ![]() ![]() You can even pair the headset to multiple devices simultaneously, and although it can be a bit overwhelming, the audio is equalized between devices surprisingly well. We were also able to connect it to Windows 10 and a Samsung Galaxy Note Ultra utilizing the same method. The Xbox Wireless Headset is also easy to set-up, as holding the green pairing button for four seconds next to an Xbox Series X does the job. However, Xbox has managed to fit all of this into a $99 package. Typically, if you’re looking for the features found in a headset of this quality, you’ll be expected to pay anywhere from $150 to $200. The Xbox Wireless Headset surprised us with its immersive audio and solid battery life, especially at such an affordable price. See our full Pulse 3D PS5 wireless headset review If these things don't bother you, PS5's official headset knocks it out of the park. Alongside mediocre battery life (somewhere around 12 hours) and an all plastic construction resulting in a cheap feel, these are the few reasons why you might not want the Pulse 3D. It's not all lovely though, as there's lacking multi-platform support as it's completely without Bluetooth. Of course, the Pulse 3D is only $99.99, putting it above some of the competition in affordability, especially for the quality you'll be receiving. Our reviewer enjoyed six-hour long Gran Turismo 7 sessions (before the game slowly started being ruined) and seven-hour long Cyberpunk 2077 sessions without any notes of discomfort. And best of all, this headset is damn comfortable. This is easily the best pick, offering fantastic sound quality and impactful 3D audio. The Pulse 3D is the number one choice for anyone still in need of a gaming headset that works with the PS5. ![]()
